The webinar will address the most relevant decisions of the CJEU in the area of direct taxation issued during 2019 and early 2020. The presenter will analyse select decisions of, and argumentation brought forward by, the CJEU and their potential impact on businesses operating in Malta.

Chris Curmi is an International Tax Partner at Deloitte Malta, responsible for international tax, expatriate taxation and citizenship & immigration services to the firm’s local and international clients across various industries.
Chris joined the International Tax Department of Deloitte Malta in 2005, following the merger of the audit and accounting firm Curmi, Paris, Scicluna & Co with Deloitte Malta effective from 1 January 2005. He was one of the founder partners of Curmi, Paris, Scicluna & Co and headed the firm’s international tax practice. Chris is a UK Chartered Accountant and Fellow Member of the Malta Institute of Accountants and Malta Institute of Taxation.
