Ganado Advocates Sponsors MITLA Annual Conference 2026 on Law, Tech & Innovation

Ganado Advocates is pleased to be sponsoring Beyond the Prompt: Next Gen Law, Risk and the Challenge of Change, the Malta IT Law Association’s (MITLA) Annual Conference 2026, taking place on the 26th June.

Bringing together legal and technology professionals, the conference will explore the evolving intersection of law, technology and innovation through a programme featuring discussions on cyber security, artificial intelligence, legal operations, governance, compliance and the future of legal practice. The agenda also includes a live cyber breach simulation, practical demonstrations of AI applications, and panel discussions examining the impact of emerging technologies on the legal profession.

Paul Micallef Grimaud, Partner at Ganado Advocates, will be speaking during the session “Who Owns the Output? AI & Copyright in 2026”. The session will examine the cases reshaping AI and copyright, including the UK’s Stability AI judgement and GEMA v OpenAI and their implications for businesses building with, or licensing, Ai-generated content.

Managing Partner Matthew Bianchi, Partners Anthony Cremona and Philip Mifsud, Senior Associates Beppe Degiorgio, Elaine Magri, Luigi Farrugia, Advocate Andrea Grima and Associate Michela Zammit Lupi will also be attending.
