For yet another year, Ganado Advocates is supporting the Malta Stock Exchange’s Governance, Risk, Compliance, and ESG conference.

This event will be held at the Hilton Malta between the 4th and 6th of March. The 2-day conference will bring together corporate executives, regulators, and financial industry specialists to discuss emerging trends within the GRC and ESG space.

Leonard Bonello will be participating in a panel discussion during the second day of this conference. The panel entitled ‘Banking vs. Blockchain: How Will Stablecoins and Crypto Evolve?’ will be exploring the growing convergence of digital assets and traditional finance, focusing on the role of stablecoins and cryptocurrencies in the future of money. It will examine opportunities for innovation and efficiency alongside regulatory, stability and systemic risk considerations, and considers whether banks and crypto will compete, coexist or integrate.
