The International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) will host an event in Malta from June 13th to 15th titled ‘Setting Sails in Turbulent Times’. This conference is organised by AIJA’s Transport and International Business Law Commissions.

Senior Associate Caroline Risiott will participate in a panel discussion on financing in the transport industry, focusing on recent developments in a session titled ‘The Urgency of (Sustainable) Money – Financing Trade, Transport, and Business Models’. Additionally, Associate Nikolai Lubrano will join another panel addressing recent developments in Europe’s energy transition, exploring legal and practical perspectives in a discussion titled ‘Wind, Sun, and Alternative Fuels – New Opportunities and Challenges in the Transport Industry and Supply Economy Amid Europe’s Planned Energy Transitions’. Gabriel DeBono, an Advocate within the shipping practice, will also attend the event.
